Northern Ireland
The “Holy Week” agreement and the subsequent referendum are a first step towards negotiated peace in Northern Ireland.
But centuries of hate and mistrust will not be wiped out with this agreement. The symbol of this accumulated hate is the “Peace Wall” which separates the two communities – the Catholic and the Protestant – in Belfast.
When will this wall come crumbling down?
